It is our belief that all new buildings should be designed to take account of their impact on the environment, locally and globally, to be designed in harmony with nature and to use only sustainable natural resources.

• Site analysis of the local environment, habitats, micro climate, noise, pollution, sun orientation, access, overshadowing and water resources.
• Design to reduce energy needs by solar gain, solar energy, heat recovery, use of materials with low embodied energy, high insulation, renewable energy sources, sun, wind and water.
• Use of natural sustainable materials, i.e. timber, clay, plant based materials, recycled materials
• Creation of 'healthy buildings', use of non toxic materials, organic paints and finishes, breathing walls, etc.
